Earth's Pantry Palo Santo

Palo Santo is Spanish for “Holy Wood” and is one of Mother Nature’s gifts for raising vibrations, and purifying and cleansing the air.

Palo Santo original origin is from the coast of South America, Palo Santo is closely related to Frankincense, Myrrh, and Copal. It is considered a deeply sacred and spiritual tree which has a energy cleansing and healing ability similar to Sage and Cedar although Palo Santo is part of the citrus family and has the distinct smell of pine, mint, and lemon.

To Use

Take one stick of Palo Santo and light it with a match or lighter, allow for the stick to burn for at least 20-30 seconds then carefully blow it out. Move around the space you are wanting to clear the energy, as you move the Palo Santo stick into the corners of the room or space you are cleansing say aloud a blessing for the space.

The smell of the burning wood will bring peace and clarity to the moment. Once you feel you have cleansed the space, place the Palo Santo stick in a fireproof bowl or dish and allow the embers to burn out. Please remember to always exercise  safety and care when working with fire.
